Im New - Guild Wars Forums

Hello Everyone, My friend just bought hte game and i was watching him play and it looks very good. I would just like a few questions answered Before i start playing.

1) Do you have to do all the quests in order?

2) can you just walk around the whole map and gain experience until you want to go on with the game.

3) im confused about clan battles and how that is seperate from the campain type thing.

1. Nope. Missions yes. Quests are totaly optional.

2. Yup. Kill things for xp until u dont get anymore xp from them. then go do quests cuz xp stays the same for them.

3. Clan battles or GvG is Guild vs Guild. 5v5. Once you join a guild and they have 5 lvl 20's they can issue challenges against other guilds. Campain is just you on your own with the choice to join a group of ppl or Henchies.

Actually, you don't even have to do the missions in order, or at all with the exception of a few towards the end of the game.

ya really i didnt, the first mission i did was borlis pass, ive seen lvl 14ppl in droknars forge, and i have gone back and found ways to skip many missions, but lets put it this way the smartest thing to do is go in order, u get the whole story and it will make it quicker i believe and easier. dont have to but prolly should
